Designed by Flocdesign, this boy’s bedroom in a single-family home in Miami Beach blends functionality with a poetic sense of wonder. A deep blue celestial wallpaper wraps the space, transforming the walls into a constellation map, an immersive backdrop that sparks curiosity and dreams.
The palette moves between soft neutrals and layered blues, grounding the room while keeping it light and serene. A minimalist upholstered bed sits gently against the cosmic wall, paired with a sculptural nightstand and a playful astronaut lamp—bringing a touch of storytelling into the everyday.
The workspace is thoughtfully integrated: a clean-lined desk, ergonomic chair, and custom storage create a balanced zone for focus and creativity. Built-in shelving in tonal blues offers both rhythm and practicality, while curated objects add personality without clutter.
A large, soft rug anchors the room, extending beneath the bed to unify the space and enhance comfort, an essential gesture in creating a cozy yet refined environment. Natural light filters in, softening textures and elevating the material palette.
